The Scientific Student Group on Private International and International Economic Law (PIIEL SSG) was established for the students who are interested in private international law and international trade and business law in order to give space and option to expand their skills and knowledge in science and practise. The Scientific Student Group is a self-operating student community with the supervision of the Department’s lecturers, in which is welcome everybody but also a stable platform for scientific student work and preparing for student tournaments.
Besides the ancient, still living traditions over thousands of years, one of the most characteristic feature of law profession is the expectation on the constant renewal of knowledge as the changes of society appear in the legislation immediately or sometimes even prior to them. In today's globalized world the pressure of constant renewal particularly actual, so the main task of university education is not only the empowerment of students to the latest and widest range of scientific and practical knowledge, but also to enrich the knowledge of practitioners. Our Department and the fields of private international law and international trade and business law join to the Law School’s well recognized and high quality postgraduate education over the Graduate School.
