The Department of Political Science has been having international relations for more than one decade with the aim of supporting students’ mobility. In the beginning of the 1990’s our department got in connection with Aalborg University (Denmark), University of Trier (Germany) and Lund University (Sweden). Between 1996 and 1999, within the framework of TEMPUS Programme, the three foreign universities in addition to University of Szeged, University of Pécs and University of Miskolc, elaborated and launched the European Policy – training. Since 1999 the cooperation with the Aalborg University has been going on within the framework of the ERASMUS Lifelong Learning Programme. Department of Political Science has four other international cooperation with University of Hradec Králové (Chech Republic), University of Tromso (Norway), Universitiy of Teramo and Universitiy of Genova (Italy). By means of these international relations an average of 4-5 Hungarian students can study abroad in every single semester.
