Conditions of Application

Students can apply for ERASMUS scholarship if they:

- are Hungarian citizens or citizens of one of the participating countries or of a third country (if they have a permanent residence permit),

- have at least two finished semesters in legal studies before starting ERASMUS

- are registered students of the University of Szeged in legal studies, where they may gain an acknowledged (state) diploma or any other higher educational qualification up to the level of doctorate (the possible levels of studies IBA, MA, Ph.D, PG/ are included in the bilateral contracts)

- will acquire their diploma neither before nor during the scholarship

- submit an application acceptable by the Department

- have a high standard command of the particular language, necessary for attending foreign studies and submit a high standard plan of study programme

 

Regular conditions of participation

- „ Concluding a discussed and written Learning Agreement

- At the end of the period of studies the foreign host institution has to give a certification about the fulfilled study-programme and achievements

- The students are entitled to get school sholarships from thier mother-institution or get any other loan during the period spent abroad”

The Department of Roman Law requires the followings from applicants:

 

1. Application in the form of a letter (which university they apply for; the order, in case of more universities; in case of applying for the place(s) of another department, mentioning it)

2. Copy of the certificate about the command of language(s)

3. Copy of the school achievements so far

4. Curriculum Vitae (in a short, sketchy form). You shall also notice if you reached any special achievements (TDK, OTDK, higher educational competition participation, work at any student association, etc.).
