About 32 thousand visitors were on the 12th Educatio exhibition; a couple of thousands of guests were informed about the opportunities the University of Szeged has to offer.

Most of them had questions about the BA degree, the scholarships and the state-financed places. They can get more information on the open day of the university on the 4th of February.

There were 138 exhibitors on this event and one of the most interesting stands was the University of Szeged. The main question was usually about the costs and the quantities. Due to changes in the higher education in the near past, the potential students inquired about the frame numbers, the scholarships, the state-financed places and the costs of a semester in case they don’t reach the required points. The visitors often got the advice, that if they have any interest in the natural sciences, they’d better to try to apply for one of them, because the amount of the state-financed places is the highest there.

Those who still have questions about the faculties of the University of Szeged can inquire on the 4th of February, between 9 am and 3 pm. There is another open day in the main building of the University (Dugonics tér 13). There will be a presentation about the new Act of Higher Education for the students and the parents as well. The open day includes useful information about inland and foreign scholarships, opportunities of studying foreign languages, accommodation in dormitories and tips for the university life.

Program of the open day on 4th February:

9am-3pm: Gathering information at the stands of the faculties.

11am: Presentation about the new Act of Higher Education by Prof. Dr. Mária Homoki-Nagy in the assembly hall.

Place: Main building of the University of Szeged (Dugonicstér 13.)
