The Faculty of Law recently published an edited volume of selected papers on multiple fields of Intellectual Property Law. The book is based upon a multi-language international conference organized by Prof. Éva Jakab in May 2012. Readers are offered to download all chapters individually.
On February 27, 2014 the Faculty of Law at the University of Szeged organized a formal meeting to welcome 11 Chinese students representing two Shanghai universities.
In March, 11 students of the University of Shanhai have started their half-year-long studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Szeged.

Donald Stevens, a third year student o the University of Chicago offered an introduction to the affirmative action case law of the United States Supreme Court on a workshop organized by the Institute of Comparative Law.
On 12 November 2012 the Students' Association of Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of University of Szeged (SZTEP) gave a lecture about the Chinese educational system with participation of Chinese students studying at University of Szeged.
A delegation from the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law visited the University of Szeged on 3 July. A cooperation agreement was signed by the two institutions.
