The Gateway program, started by the University of Szeged Faculty of Law and the Chinese partners has started the most successful semester considering the number of students attending the program.
On February 27, 2014 the Faculty of Law at the University of Szeged organized a formal meeting to welcome 11 Chinese students representing two Shanghai universities.
In March, 11 students of the University of Shanhai have started their half-year-long studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Szeged.
The first significant event of the 5-year-long Hungarian-Serbian research cooperation (Harmonisation of Serbian and Hungarian (domestic) law with the European Union and Cross-Border Cooperation) took place on December 15, 2012. The University of Novi Sad hosted the conference where our Faculty was represented by a 12-member delegation , led by Vice-Dean Dr. Krisztina Karsai.
The University of Szeged will start a new Intellectual Property Law Programme in the Fall Semester of 2013. The training will offer participants a chance to deepen their knowledge on copyright, patent and trademark law from experienced Hungarian and foreign professors and practitioners.
The international conference titled ’The Trend of Crimes in the Global Era and a Critical Review and Transcendence of Traditional Penal Theories and Systems’ as the 4th session of the International Forum on Crime and Criminal Law in the Global Era (IFCCLGE) was held in Beijing.
On 12 November 2012 the Students' Association of Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of University of Szeged (SZTEP) gave a lecture about the Chinese educational system with participation of Chinese students studying at University of Szeged.
