Bálint Szűcs, a third year student of University of Szeged, Faculty of Law and Political Science, majoring in law and international relations, could attend a one month study program at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL), the program was supported by Campus Hungary Scholarship. Exchange students from SHUPL attended University of Szeged, Faculty of Law and Political Science for a one semester study program, called Gateway, last academic year. This September was the first opportunity when a student from Szeged could visit that partner University. The role of SHUPL in university system of China is increasing, the Chinese President, Xi Jinping underlined that University in his speech, last September.

The most important aim of the study program was researching the international relations between China and Hungary, but our student could be a part of the student life of Shanghai, he could experience the life in China and also the unique Chinese culture. The exchange student from Szeged could be present when the new Exchange Program and International Student Program was started at SHUPL and he could experience that what kind of opportunities a Hungarian university student could find in China. He could visit the Shanghai International Studies University, Faculty of Law too.
