Green collar employment (working in the renewable energy sector) is one of today's most
dynamically developing fields.

By the 21st century protection of the environment has become a popular topic throughout the world with the majority of people being concerned about the
issue. The work of the study-group essentially focuses on renewable energy sources and
environment-conscious work, also known as green jobs.

The main goal of the group is to get other students to know the possibilities of this new sector
and also to involve everyone interested in a creative and innovative activities and research
projects regarding the topic.

The team has organised field trips to small and medium sized companies engaged in
renewables so that students could see how they work in practice. The group also participates
in relating projects and contests to further increase the popularity of the subject.

The group has prepared a movie clip titled MAKE IT STOP! for a competition open for
participants from the EU titled Green-Go fest.
