At this Model United Nations (MUN), as the name indicates, participants will be simulating the work of the real United Nations. To do so, all future delegates are required to conduct some previous research on the topics they are to discuss, but also become familiar with the rules of procedure for SZEMUN. By a little effort in preparing, we can achieve a great level of simulation, that can provide an appropriate atmosphere for constructive debates.

SZEMUN will be held from the 11-13 April, in the facilities of the University of Szeged. Housing and catering is to be provided for all students from foreign countries or other Hungarian cities

We are all looking forward to meeting everyone, to having a great conference and also some memorable parties. The organizers are working hard to achieve all of this, and we are confident that all delegates will have a great time. This occasion will provide a good opportunity for meeting other people and getting to know the basics of the UN, this truly outstanding cooperation, that has added so much to the World.
